He-llo, peoples! I’ve not written in a long time… TOO long, really.
Why? Because I am lazy and like to procrastinate. Yeah…
So, what’s happened since I last wrote… TWO MONTHS AGO, at LEAST!?! Well, there was Educational Support Week, which I’ve written about before–ESW, ESW! Yup, homeschool week’s always pretty crazy–I got lost more than anything else, but it was still a lot of fun, especially since I got to hang with my two good friends, Renee and Sam.
Speaking of which, for a while Sam and her familia were our neighbors, which was crazy fun. We kicked shoes, we watched YouTube, we played Minecraft, we played Wii, we did it all over again. What fun! Sadly, she left recently, leaving me ALONE in THE WORLD. Well, not really. I just like being dramatic.
Back to the subject of homeschool week; some of the fun things we did were:
*Reports: we all did some special “reports” on what we’d learned since last year, or something like that. Actually, I think the more accurate word is “presentations”, right? Anyway, I talked about African Wild Dogs–well, didn’t talk, used a video Dad helped me make. Everyone seemed to like it. There was also this cool drone thing, and Sam read this awesome short story she wrote about Dragon Kittens–ooh la la!
*Hike: that was insanely fun. And kind of terrifying, especially when a bunch of us got lost and there was a train and whew!
*Shadowing: I got to follow an RVAer around like some sort of stalker. Yeah, it was fun.
Anyway, I haven’t been being very productive lately, just obsessing over things and watching videos and wishing Netflix worked better in Africa. *siiiiiiiigh*
Oh, yeah, and yesterday, we climbed Mt. Longonot! That was exhausting.
