We were able to get an emergency appointment with the embassy this morning. We breezed in and out of a passport photo studio on the way, and got to the embassy within the 20 minutes they said we had to get there. Then we waited and waited for a meeting to finish.
It was a good chance to make new friends, like Mwangi and Friendly Security Lady who let Jack and Mwangi sit together on the tall security stool. She gave them assignments: “write your names, and I will give you marks.” Then “put down 1 to 5 and I will give marks.” And “don’t play with the phone.”
Eventually we got a temporary passport and are ready for our second airport attempt.
Thank you Father, and thank you to all who prayed!
So glad you asked us to pray and that things worked out for Jacks passport.
