Hello, Nairobi!
Just a few days ago, we arrived here in the big city, after leaving our new neighbors at home in the desert. The new people, who just recently moved up to join us, are [probably] doing fine. We waited and prayed for a family to joint us in our lonely home, and finally, somebody has! Which means we are free to go places, like Nairobi, with no worries. Yay! More vacations!
However, the reason we are here is (unfortunately) not to vacation, but to see my older sister, Olivia, who goes to boarding school near here. Her mid term is happening very soon, so of course we have to be here to see her. This is the long one, after all. Nairobi is not a bad place to wait, if you ignore the traffic (which means it takes an hour to drive a mile) and the pollution (it appears that sunset doesn’t end until sunrise). There are a lot of fellow missionaries and missionary kids here, not to mention lots of dogs and good food (KFC!?! Subway!?!). Of course, there is a chance we will get blown up by angry people, but that hasn’t happened yet. And, one of the best things about this place, is it’s COLD and ALL the houses have BATHTUBS! Which makes me very, very happy. Of course, when you add those two things together, it makes you glad to have a water heater.
Anyway, today I plan to see a good friend of mine, and Isaiah is celebrating one of his own friend’s birthday. So, happy birthday, Isaiah-Friend! And hello, My-Friend!
I think I had better stop writing now, or I might end up writing a book. Which is something I’ve done before. Which is cool. But doesn’t get me chocolate. 🙁 Oh well. I don’t even like chocolate that much. 😀
Write to you later!

Grace, I love the way you write. You have a positive outlook in dismal place. And that’s good, because life is what you make it no matter where you’re at. Am I right? Say hi to Olivia for me. I know she enjoys having you near.
