NOOOOOOOOOOoooooooOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Forgive me, oh cyber peoples! It has been a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time… Again, please, forgive me! I really did mean to write more recently, but alas, I am forgetful and lazy. But enough of that–let me tell you what has happened! For starters, I managed to finish Anima just in time! Woo-hoo! Unfortunately, that means it’s now time for the tough part–editing. Ugh! For another, I have recently become obsessed with a show meant for younger kids (such as my brothers). I’m not going to name it, due to my immense amount of shame and embarrassment, but it’s awesomesauce. We have also enjoyed a spider-y vacation, complete with earlier mentioned kid show watched repeatedly, not to mention an awesome hyrax siting. To top it all off, we had biscuits and gravy and went to a game park–now aren’t you jealous, sister o’ mine? We also celebrated...

Hello, wonderful amazing personages of the interweb! And no, interweb is not a word! 😛 So, have you been enjoying yee selves? Hopefully so! Anyway, I just wanted to tell you all some exciting things! First of all, I have decided what book to write. It shall be… *drumroll, please* ANIMA! What is Anima about, you ask? Well, I answer, it’s about some of my favorite things: animals and MAGIC! Oh yeah! Another thing is, I have recently been to a very wonderful place that is like a mix of the cradle of mankind and the beach, and there have seen… A FRIEND! Named… SAM! And she is amazing and funny and has really good ideas for how to waste time. 😛 Want to steal these amazing ideas? Well, here are some of the things we did: *talk about books *talk about randomness *ate stuff *made up ridiculous one-word stories (though I suppose you could say that was originally...

AAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhHHHHHHHH!

Ah, amazing superhighway associates! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH! And aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh! And AAAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What am I AAAAAAH-ing about, you wonder? Well, as you may know, OCTOBER is (nearly) upon us, and that means–AAAAAAAH!-NOVEMBER! What’s so scary about November, you may ask. Well, besides Thanksgiving (ha ha ha, I am hilarious) and my sister getting out of school (aaaaaaaaaaaah!) and conference (what!?! But homeschool week was, like, yesterday!), there is–oh no!–NANOWRIMO! And as you surely know by now, NaNoWriMo is extremely TERRIFYING and amazingly FUN and an all-out EXTRAVANGAZA! Well, not really, but ah well. Is there anything else making me AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!? Well, certainly not a NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE I HAD A DAY OR SO AGO! Okay, so it wasn’t that near, but it was still terrifyingly awesomely scary. See, I was...

Trap… and… DES DEMONA!

By on Aug 22, 2015 in Uncategorized | 59 comments

Ciao, site surfing peoples! Sorry it’s been so long, but I’ve been very busy making cookies and eating cheesecake and playing video games and reading (and rereading) books and… um… what other excuses do I have? Oh yes! I have been WRITING! What have I been writing, you ask? Well, I answer, I have been writing TRAP AND LURE! What is Trap and Lure about? you ask. Is it a good book? you wonder. To answer one of those questions, Trap and Lure is about… *drumroll* …ALIENS! That’s right! I told you about it last post, I think, but did I mention the UNDARS and SLINKEYS and FOUR-HEADED MULTIS? That’s right! SLINKEYS! Any who, just a few moments ago, I was ambushed by the end of Trap and Lure, so now I must prepare to right another book. What book? Well, I’m not sure about the title. But I know what it will be about (otherwise, it’s...

DARKENING

By on Jul 28, 2015 in Uncategorized | 3 comments

Greetings again, brave settlers of the net! Sorry it’s been so long–I’ve been very forgetful this past more-then-a-month, and neglected to write on here even after I finished DARKENING, the third book in the Missing trilogy. What is Darkening about? Well, I’m glad you asked. It concerns such serious matters as dogs, dragons, Makor (what’s that?), the Earth’s core, washtub boats, and Tamias striatus. Sound good? I hope so! Now I’ve started a book that I’ve called Trap and Lure thus far (though that might change), which focuses on a human (well, several, but mostly one) and–pause for effect–ALIENS! And by aliens I mean Tree-Blades, Smooth-Horns, Katzen, and Stiers! And yes, I did use Google Translate German! Yay! Exclamation points! Any-who, some other things have happened. Such as… *AWESOME NEW NEIGHBORS! *My...

Unicorns!?!

By on Jun 7, 2015 in Uncategorized | 0 comments

Hello, intrepid infobahn personages! (look that up in the dictionary! ;D) Well, as you know, it is now JUNE, which means there is exactly 24 (I think) days until Through the Door must be published! Aah! Despite this, I have not been working non-stop; instead, I have been making snickerdoodles, playing video games, and watching Where on Earth is Carmen San Diego, not to mention assisting in breaking our brand new door knob (not on purpose!), educating myself concerning certain old video games, and helping a visiting veterinarian operate on our pets (and the neighbors reproducing cats…). Also, I have finished a book about UNICORNS, of all things (my brother was shocked). It’s called Gold, and it includes the following creatures: *Scottish Unicorns *both kinds of Indian Unicorns *Chinese Dragons *Slavic Dragons *Dholes *Scottish Wildcats *and, of course, house cats! Now that...

ESW, ESW

By on May 17, 2015 in Uncategorized | 0 comments

Well, hello, awesome people of web-land! My dear father has told me it’s either Mother’s Day or ESW, so I’ve decided to write about ESW (no offense, Mom). ESW is the new, fancy-schmancy name for good ol’ homeschool week (which doesn’t even have capitals), and it stands for Educational Support Week (all capitalized). During ‘ESW’, us poor, innocent homeschoolers are carted off by our determined missionary parents and dumped in a beautiful but freezing boarding school, where for a whole week we get sore muscles and frozen toes hiking from motel to cafeteria to school, and are tested, learn about Japan (well, not every time), and tag along with some poor non-homeschoolers who have been assigned us pathetic foreign-to-school-ers. Then, at the very end, we’re stuffed full of doughnuts, pizza, and cheeseburgers to keep us from talking...

Back from the Beach

Hello, patient people of the worldwide web! It’s been a little while… Well, I’ve finished Looming, and my birthday has passed (and I got a griffin–best present ever! Besides all the other ones I got!). Not to mention that my amazing grandparents visited (they are awesome) and we went to the beach (and believe me, monkeys are evil… try getting your hair pulled by one trying to steal your mandazi, and you’ll agree!). At the moment I’m actually working on two books–Dragon Daughter, the sequel to Dragon Sister, and GraceTon Tales, which I hope will both somehow be good enough to read (fingers crossed!). Right now, we’re in Nairobi, where there is plentiful cold and plentiful dairy products! 🙂 That’s all for now, ~Grace~z~Artist He will again have compassion on us; he will tread our iniquities underfoot. You will cast all our sins...
