Book Poll

Ah, there you are, voyagers of the infobahn! I greatly need you, for I have *drumroll, please*… a dilemma! What’s a dilemma, you ask? Go look it up, I say. What kind of dilemma, you ask? I’ll tell you, I say.

You see, November is upon us once again (hence the reappearance of this page). And that means it’s time for NaNoWriMo, that crazy thing where you write a book in a month! And now, I must choose (with your help): What shall I write? So, here is a poll, and after that are some descriptions of the books. Please read the descriptions before voting, since after all, you only get one vote (sorry, indecisive ones, but that’s how the world rolls). Now, the choice is up to you!

Here are the top six. Just click on the one you want and then push the vote button:

And here are the descriptions:

Ann Droid

Ann Droid, an intelligent robot living with a human family, seldom lets her confusion about the unpredictable beings she lives or her curiosity about her own nature bother her–of course it’s the last thing on her mind when her family is kidnapped by EZ, maker of androids. With only a bewildering human male and an overeager cow on her side, Ann must outwit her creators and retrieve her family.

Wings of the Dusk

Bella Wig, an unhappy MK, was already struggling to fit in when her family adopted Emily, a unique five-year-old with intelligence three times what it should be (and the wings and ears of a bat, as well) and a steely determination to make her place in the world. Now the girls must contend with each other, adapt to their new world, and all while keeping Erick Vox from getting Emily’s wings.

Darkness Born

Everyone knows Eris is destined for evil, and they act it, fearing or actively hating the very ground she walks on –especially Natalie White and her angelic family, who are determined Natalie vanquish Eris when the prophesied battle of good vs. evil comes to a head. When Eris rescues a strange creature, incidentally setting off a chain of prophesied events that send her home spiraling into chaos, she must figure out what’s really going on, stop doomsday from coming, and finally discover if she’s evil or not.

The Invaders!

When Second Sun 2 and her crew touched down on a strange planet inhabited by an intelligent species, they made history (even if they were set upon by the locals and had to go into hiding), and they would continue to do so as they set about establishing (or trying to establish) friendly relations with the new world. They had powerful enemies (Terrence Deen, cultural and linguistic barriers, and public panic, to name a few) and few allies (namely young Sal Sangster and younger Sage Tash), yet still they bravely carried out their mission to befriend the planet and get home. This is the tale of the Invaders of Planet Earth.

Mirror Walls

Alethea lives an uneventful life in Glass City, protected by the mirror walls, and desperate to have some sort of impact on her world. One day Winston, a jovial visitor, tells tales of sunshine and laughter beyond the walls, and is abruptly silenced, inspiring Alethea to embark on a mission of truth which pits her against the entire city and her own family.

The Book of Ninja

Fallon, a restless teenager, Amity, her painfully shy neighbor, and Yuuki, a visitor to the country trying to escape her busy life, find themselves unexpectedly pitted together when Fallon sets off to find the alleged “Book of Ninja”.

So, tell me what you think, and in November, I shall write! Yippee! Have a picture.

This a picture of my brothers... Wait, it's NOT off the internet? *gasp*

Surprise! It’s November!

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. ~Hebrews 4:12, ESV
