It’s About Time

Hey! It’s me! I’m still alive, surprisingly! So, since I last posted school’s ended and is now about to begin again. Woohoo… On the plus side, I’m going back to homeschool! Yay! And summer break was really nice, I managed to finish a project and get a good start on another one. I’m planning to make a comic, believe it or not, so preparing for that has been fun. My oldest little brother’s birthday was yesterday so that was pretty neat! He’s a really cool dude and I actually enjoy hanging out with him, which I’ve heard is rare with siblings. But again, he’s cool. What else is there to say? My big sis is getting married, which is… really wild. The IDW Sonic comics are great. I need to get caught up on Wings of Fire. Art is fun. Jinx is a good boy. I’m planning to write my genetic-experiments-African-Wild-Dogs book for...

Joseph Christmas, part deux!

Joseph Christmas, my dudes! So this is actually the SECOND time I have written a post the day after Christmas, the first time being waaaaaay back in 2014 (http://jerrybreanna.com/grace/2014/12/26/joseph-christmas/). And of course, I made the same joke. Funny how little has changed. Anyway, we’re not here to talk about the past four years (how have I had this blog for four years), we’re here to talk about the past… four months? Not bad! (at least it wasn’t a year this time…) Well, I somehow managed to finish online school, and survived the transition to brick-and-mortar school! Amazing! And, I gotta tell you, it’s good to be home. I really missed it. That being said, it’s not quite back to the old routine. Obviously, there’s the whole going-to-school-now thing, which means people and homework and it’s very exhausting. At least...

What is Blog?

Heeeeeeey… It’s been… a long, long time… Uh… yeah. Since I was last here (ALMOST A YEAR AGO), I’ve been… doing school. Okay, okay, that’s not all I’ve been doing, but sometimes it feels like it. Bah. Anywho, in ye olde Carolina I made new friends, which was amazing, and improved my artist skills, but that’s not too exciting. Never fear, past me, you did indeed do NaNo! Barely scraped by, but you did it! I did it! Sorry I didn’t put up a poll like I have before. I’ll talk more about the book I wrote, “Life, Death, and the Other Things”, on its own page once I make that (at the top, under the “Books” tab, if you’re wondering :). In other news, I joined DeviantArt (yaaaay), a site where people upload their art and look at other people’s art, and traveled around the good old USA...

Oh, Carolina!

Salut! Comment ça va? Yeah, I’ve been learning French. Along with many other things, because guess what?  In the–has it been two months? I don’t feel like doing math–in the two months since I last wrote, we have *deep breath* visited our (maternal) grandparents and our aunt, finally arrived in CAROLINA, the boys started going to a private school and Mom started teaching at said private school, and I started North Star academy! We stayed in an apartment for a few weeks, and just yesterday moved into this lovely new house, courtesy of the Grays. It’s pretty awesome. Oh, and between our aunt and arrived in CAROLINA, we dropped Olivia off at Asbury University. She also got in a car accident, but she’s alright now. Quoth the fox: Alls well that ends well! Speaking of well: Well, school kinda sucks. French is interesting, physical science is cool, English...

I’m Ali-i-i-i-ive!

I’m alive! I’m alive! And I’m dead inside! …I’ve really gotta stop quoting song lyrics… Look at me, so punctual again! And guess where I am? I’m in… Wait for it… MURICA! A whole different country! A whole different continent! A whole different culture and weather and time zone! Fortunately, I’m over my jet lag and feeling relatively at home in my bubble of YouTube, music, and family. Also swimming, since we’re fortunate enough to have generous friends who are letting us housesit for them. They have a lovely house with a lovely pool and they are lovely people and this is a lovely song. Lovely. So yeah, since I last wrote we sorta kinda took care of the pets (I hope?), said goodbye, packed up, went to the airport, discovered Jack’s passport had expired or some-such nonsense, SOMEHOW managed to fix it and hop on a...
