The Possibilities Are Never Ending

At long last, I can announce my GLORIOUSLY UNPROFESSIONAL RETURN!

So… I don’t really have an excuse. I just keep forgetting about my blog. Then Sam updated her blog, so then I realized, “What, I haven’t written on here since last year!?!” And then I was like, “Well, if it means not working on my book…” As for the title… MUSIC. IS. AWESOME.

Since I last wrote, well… I wrote Darkness Born, which was fun. No, really, actually just writing something and not caring about how good it was was a very nice relief from all the editing nonsense I’ve supposedly been doing. Even if it is a terrible book.

After that NaNo nonsense I took a month-long break from writing and honed my drawing skills. To my shock, I discovered I could draw! Seriously! I was as surprised as you are. We also did our co-op play, The Bethlehem Star, and I was very camel-y (as in grumpy and not wanting to be there). But we did it! We did the play! And then co-op was over… for a little while. *sigh*

Besides that, we also went to conference. This time around, though, it was very different, as we didn’t do it at RVA. Instead, we hung out at Lake Elementaita! (Or something like that…) Oh, and I was sick, sort of. And really good food. And a complete lack of Sam or my other friends. 🙁

I’ve also moved on to a new writing project, and by “new” I mean… Well, not new at all. I’ve returned to my roots, to Through the Door, the first book I ever… tried editing. Since Dad put in so much work formatting and editing it for me, I might as well do my job and make it better so we can actually publish it. Seriously, it’s got a cover and everything!

Of course, I’ve got new interests now. Or a new phase or whatever you want to call it. Still not telling, though! But that’s not important. Um… Co-op’s started again, and this time, I’m an eagle! And a feather. My own feather, actually… No idea how I’m going to pull that off. :/

Write to y’all later,

Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits: who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagles. ~Psalm 103:1-5, NIV

    D’awwww! I miss you, too.
Also, I admire your talent at actually finishing books (*cough* I’ve never finished writing a book *cough*)

Everyone’s got their own style. My style is to fill the pages with nonsense and call it a book. Your style is maybe more quality over quantity. 🙂 Hopefully we’ll see you when we visit the states! 😀
