Migrating the Wrong Way

Dear brave internet wanderers,

We’re going back again! It’s hard to believe it, but conference has come upon us and soon we will be migrating the wrong way–again. Even this very day, our good neighbors are preparing to leave. As for us, not much has changed. Raven, our lovely, affectionate kitten, has been causing problems–clawing our anti-bug screens to pieces, and then meowing her head off when we put her out. Not surprisingly, I woke up pretty early this morning. Jinx has been causing his fair share of problems, too–tearing my mosquito net, getting beds and couches dirty with his very visible hairs, and sometimes forgetting his house training, not to mention trying to play with a much smaller Raven. Titan has mostly just been wrestling with the younger dog. Our good neighbors have pets, too, and their pets have news–their two marvelous cats, Marcy and Jay, are BOTH having kittens, and in a matter of days! The rat population has better watch out…

Well, that’s all for now. WTYL, probably in Nairobi,

God guards you from every evil,
he guards your very life.
He guards you when you leave and when you return,
he guards you now, he guards you always. ~Psalm 121:7-8 MSG
